Our Story
Founded by Becky, Dolphin Academy is a family-owned swim school with a passion for high-quality swimming lessons. With over seven years of experience and a lifetime spent in the pool, Becky’s dream was to create a swim school that provides a complete swimming pathway—taking children from their very first splash as babies to advanced, competition-level swimmers. Growing up in a family of swimming teachers, Becky saw a gap in the swimming world: lessons that nurture swimmers from infancy through every stage of their swimming journey, focusing on quality over quantity.
To achieve this, Dolphin Academy offers small, carefully structured classes where each swimmer receives personalised attention. Since its inception in 2015, the Academy has grown from a small hobby into a well-loved institution, helping thousands of children progress from "little splashers" to confident, skilled swimmers. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your technique, Dolphin Academy is committed to helping everyone develop the essential skills and energy to succeed in the water.
As part of this journey, Dolphin Babies was born. Dolphin Babies, a dedicated branch of Dolphin Academy, focuses on pregnancy, baby, and toddler swimming classes, designed to introduce children to the water early on. From prenatal yoga and aquanatal sessions for mums-to-be, to baby swimming lessons from as young as two months, Dolphin Babies offers a unique, holistic experience. These programs not only help babies get used to the water but also create meaningful bonding moments for families. We understand that every parent and baby is unique, so our classes are tailored to bring out your baby’s natural ability to learn, play, and bond.

Becky, with over 12 years of experience working with families, uses her deep swimming knowledge to ensure that every class at Dolphin Babies benefits your child, not just in the pool, but in life.
